Rob Melis
Business Operations
After serving honorably as an Airborne Ranger Infantry officer in the US Army, Rob left the service in 1990 to pursue an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Upon graduation he was driven by a desire to help propel businesses to grow by effective and aggressive marketing. In 1992 he founded Three Sixty Advertising with a DOS based computer and a table in his apartment. Within two years, this agency had a full staff, office downtown, print shop and TV production facility to service a mix of local, regional and governmental clients. In eight years of operation, this firm never once lost a client which is a testament to Rob’s ability to help clients be successful and achieve their goals.
Rob expanded on his marketing and production knowledge by continuing on and working in a variety of roles for companies in the broadcast television industry. His specialty was 3D animation, special effects and post production. Most recently Rob worked for McGraw-Hill Construction, a national media conglomerate and construction news provider. Rob built relationships with the owners and senior management of the largest construction firms in the Midwest. It was very clear how desperately many of these companies needed the services of a professional and innovative advertising agency that understood the unique world that is the construction industry. In 2008, Rob founded Hoosier Construction Marketing Services which became the Construction Marketing Team (CMT) and has enjoyed fantastic success and growth helping contractors, suppliers and designers within the construction industry.
